Ekiti Gov. Has Called The Attention Of The People Of The State To APC Lawmakers New Plan

Ekiti governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has called the attention of the people of the state to a plan by the APC lawmakers to forcefully invade the state to cause mayhem with their  impeachment plan.

The Governor while addressing journalists noted that he acceded to the request of the APC lawmakers to meet with them in an hotel in Akure alongside the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police to allow peace reign in the state.

He further said he agreed to pay the lawmakers their entitlements as requested by them just to ensure people of the state are no longer subjected to any panic as a result of the crises being spearheaded by the lawmakers.

The governor who displayed and handed copies of the cheques issued to the lawmakers in respect of the agreement reached in the meeting at Akure noted that everyone of them signed to collect their cheques and pleaded that it should not be revealed as they would not want their leaders to be aware of the payment.

He noted further that Omirin can no longer claim to be the speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly as he had withdrawn the suit he filed against his impeachment, saying 100,000 was awarded against Omirin while a court has also adjourned cases relating to the issue of impeachment to June 4 with a warning that no one should take any step before the said date.

The governor called on the security to be at alert to defend the ruling of the court, saying a copy of the ruling was served on both the Police and the SSS.
