PSG goalkeeper, Mary Earps has come out to explain why she and Ella Toone used to clash at Manchester United. She recently had her say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to her, she clashed a lot with Toone because of their big personalities, but they definitely bonded a lot in recent months before her MUFC exit.
Earps said, “The opportunity to play for a great team in top competitions and be in a position to win silverware, It’s like an itch you can never scratch enough.”
Ella added, “She deserves everything. Mary’s dream – and it always has been – is to play at the highest level, play in the Champions League and that’s what she’s done.”

The following season, Manchester United claimed their first UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title. That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992, beating Nottingham Forest 1–0 in the second to win that competition for the first time as well.
