On Saturday, Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State committed to prevent wars in the state by fostering an environment of peace, togetherness, and progress in each of the state’s 171 villages.
Nwifuru announced this at the old governor’s lodge in Abakaliki during a media talk and account of stewardship by members of Ebonyi State’s executive council to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of Nigeria and Ebonyi State @27.
He urged naysayers to give his administration a fair hearing and promised to fulfill every demand included in the people’s charter.

He thanked the people of the country for their support, saying, “You made it possible by your unified vote for us, believing in our program, our motto — The People’s Charter of Needs, aimed to consolidate on the wonderful successes of the previous administration.
Since then, we’ve gotten to work. We have been in office for 152 days as the architects of policies tailored to your interests and the architects of their implementation. To start, we enlisted the help of a variety of reliable professionals and bureaucrats among us to provide for your needs.
We’ve been doing a little bit of everything to meet the requirements of the Ebonyi right now while also laying the groundwork for the future. As a government, we are cognizant of the need of both meeting your present needs and ensuring the well-being of future generations.
Together, we must ensure that the benefits of democracy trickle down to the people of Ebonyi and that the state moves forward to the next level of prosperity. I urge everyone to let their guard down and have an honest conversation with us, because we are here to help. “Our mission is to leave the people of Ebonyi a legacy of peace and prosperity,” he said.
