Former chairman of the defunct National Conscience Party (NCP) in Edo State, Victor Ogba, has announced his decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), attributing his move to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “impressive and landmark reforms.”
Ogba, who is also the National President of the Movement for Nigerian Transformation (MNT), made the disclosure in Abuja on Saturday during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
He revealed that his official declaration into the ruling party has been scheduled for September 16, stressing that Tinubu’s bold reforms across different sectors had continued to attract new members to the APC.

“The landmark reforms have continued to attract more members to the APC,” Ogba said.
The politician explained that he was formally received by the APC Chairman of Ward 5, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, on August 22.
“I have played politics for long in Edo, and it is time to go back to my state, Delta. This process will officially commence on Sept. 16 and is in line with my commitment towards a progressive Nigeria,” he stated.
Ogba pledged to deploy his political experience for the growth of the APC, adding that he would work closely with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other stakeholders to strengthen the party in Delta State.
“I contributed to the NCP’s success through effective planning and mobilisation and will do so in APC.
I will abide by the dictates of the party’s constitution and urge Nigerians to continue supporting the APC to make President Tinubu’s vision feasible,” he added.
