Senator Haruna Manu, a former deputy governor of Taraba State, has called on lawmakers from rival political parties to work together with Governor Agbu Kefas.
On Tuesday, while facilitating with the governor over his victory in the governorship election petition tribunal, Manu made this statement available to journalists in Jalingo.
Recall that the tribunal recently ruled in favor of the governor, dismissing the case against his election filed by Sani Yahaya, a candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

Manu especially urged the NNPP to collaborate with the governor in his remarks to speed up the development of the state.
He also asked the governor to unite all state politicians, regardless of their ideology, behind his tribunal triumph for the benefit of the people.
“The governor’s victory at the tribunal has affirmed the massive support he received from the people of Taraba State during the March 18th 2023 governorship election,” he continued.
Manu, the incumbent Senator for Taraba Central Senatorial District, said he had faith in the governor because he had begun implementing improvements for the state’s residents.
The governor had also offered the NNPP an olive branch, pleading with them to work with him for the betterment of the state.
