In a session held on Monday, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) granted approval for the 2024 appropriation bill, totaling N27.5 trillion, which is set to be presented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
As the highest policy-forming body for the federal government, the Council comprises ministers, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the national security adviser, and select high-ranking government officials, including permanent secretaries.

The intricate details of the budget are expected to be disclosed shortly, marking a significant step in the government’s fiscal planning for the upcoming year.
