The Federal High Court has granted an application by the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, for substituted service on APC Ganduje Ward executive members who suspended him from the party.
Justice Abdullahi Muhammad Liman granted the application by Ganduje’s lawyer, Hadiza Nasiru Ahmad, on Tuesday.
The ward executives, led by one Haladu Gwanjo and eight others, suspended Ganduje from the party on April 15 for alleged infractions.

The Federal High Court had on April 18 granted an interim order asking parties to maintain the status quo pending the hearing and determination of the fundamental rights enforcement suit filed by Ganduje against his suspension.
Ganduje is seeking a declaration from the court that his suspension from the party by the ward executives was illegal and ultra-vires, having not allowed him to defend himself, which he said amounts to a denial of his fundamental right.
His counsel explained that after the respondents are served with the court summons through the village of Ganduje in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, a date will be fixed for the hearing in the matter.
Justice Usman Na’Abba of the Kano State High Court had on April 17 granted an interim order affirming the suspension of the APC national chairman by his APC ward executive members.
