Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho has come out to say that Finidi George has done a good job as coach thus far. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, despite it being a very short preparation period before the game vs Ghana, he has shown that he has what it takes to lead the national team.

Iheanacho added that he hopes the ex-international will have more chances to prove himself worthy of the job.
His words, “The coach has done a great job, it’s a short time for him to work with us.
It’s just only him at the moment. Hopefully, he will get more chances with the team.”
Finidi added, “We played a 3-5-2,” George told the media after the game.
At the Afcon, it was only Victor Osimhen up top, but we felt that he was doing too much running so I wanted another player to do that running so that pair could help.
You could see that once a player gets the ball, there is an opportunity for a pass. We had to risk it somewhere, but we needed to get something going forward.”
