Bayern Munich are victims of the ongoing rumors linking Hansi Flick with the Germany job, club president, Herbert Hainer has said. He recently revealed that Bayern Munich is the one paying the consequence of Germany needing a coach at this point.
According to him, Flick hasn’t told Bayern he wants to coach the national team, so all rumors shouldn’t be taken seriously.
Hainer added that he is convinced Hansi will prefer to remain Bayern manager for as long as possible.
His words, “We are victims here. Our coach is being discussed now because there is a vacancy at the DFB and we should constantly comment on it,”
On if Flick wants the job, “He hasn’t told me that so far. I am firmly convinced that he will still enjoy it with us because he can do a lot with the team.”
“He has a great team and a great infrastructure. You don’t just give that away.”
