Former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, has officially announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Chidoka disclosed his decision during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today program, revealing that he had submitted his resignation letter to his ward in Anambra State.
The former minister explained that his departure from the PDP was driven by his desire to focus on his non-profit organization, the Athena Centre, as well as his commitment to working with Nigerians who share his vision for political reform and evidence-based governance.
“Earlier today, I sent a letter to my ward in Anambra State resigning officially from the PDP. I am leaving the PDP, I am leaving politics for some time.
I am focusing on the Athena Centre,” Chidoka said during the program.
Chidoka previously served as the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
