Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) and a prominent figure in the All Progressives Congress (APC), alleges that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, disregarded his advice.
Eze contends that natural law is taking its course against Wike, currently embroiled in a power struggle over the leadership of Rivers State with Governor Siminialayi Fubara.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Eze suggests that retributive justice is at play, recalling Wike’s support for lawmakers in 2014 who ousted those loyal to the then-Governor Amaechi.

Now, a similar scenario unfolds as five lawmakers have reportedly removed 27 colleagues loyal to Wike.
Eze emphasizes, “When I told him that whatever you sow will come after you, he ignored my counsel.”
He further recalls instances in 2018 where Wike challenged governors decamping from PDP to APC, insisting they vacate their offices in line with the constitution.
Eze asserts that Wike’s present predicament echoes the consequences of his own political strategies.
The APC chieftain alleges that Governor Ganduje, having lost the PDP presidential ticket, orchestrated the dissolution of the Rivers State APC chapter, creating an illusion of support for Wike.
However, Eze believes this move is a ploy to dismantle Wike’s political influence.
Commending Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Tinubu, for portraying Wike as an “unlearned comedian” and criticizing his political tactics, Eze adds a layer of complexity to the unfolding political drama in Rivers State.
