Holland midfielder, Frenkie de Jong wants to stay at Barcelona despite interest from Manchester United, says the club’s president Joan Laporta has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the Netherland international is definitely a player of great quality and he wants him to stay, even if the club’s economic problems must be fixed for that to happen.
Laporta added that De Jong has offers from different clubs and Barcelona want him to stay as well.
His words, “He is a Barca player of great quality and we want him to stay,”
“He has offers but we want him to stay and he wants to stay too.”
