Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, has praised Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara for standing firm against intimidation during the just-concluded local government elections in the state.
In a statement issued by his media adviser, Ike Abonyi, on Wednesday, Secondus commended Fubara for showcasing true leadership and upholding democratic values.
“Governor Fubara has demonstrated true leadership by standing firm for democracy,” Secondus said.

“His refusal to bow to intimidation is a testament to his commitment to his people and their future.”
Secondus also called on President Bola Tinubu to strengthen collaboration with Governor Fubara in safeguarding critical national assets located in Rivers State.
He emphasized the need for a close working relationship between the federal government and Rivers State due to its strategic economic importance.
