Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s 2023 presidential contender, has an adviser named Daniel Bwala who has called the N5 billion palliative from the President Bola Tinubu administration “renewal nonsense.”
Bwala made the comment while explaining how the organized labor community had helped State governments understand the rationale behind the N5billion relief package.
He mentioned that the calculated amount of N1,500 per person from the palliative was determined by organized labor.

Bwala tweeted, “The organized labour has demystified the so-called 5 billion naira FGN given to States; first the FGN said it was a palliative and they are now claiming it is a loan.
“Organized labor also did the math and came to the embarrassing conclusion that the alleged 5 billion naira translates to N1,500 per individual.
How much do grocery store staples typically cost? Refreshed idiocy.
To mitigate the negative effects of the subsidy cut, the federal government said it will distribute N5 billion as a palliative measure.
