The abolition of the gasoline subsidy and the foreign exchange regime policies have been met with praise and support from international communities, according to President Bola Tinubu.
The office of the Head of the government Service of the Federation hosted a Gala/Award Night this past weekend to celebrate and honour outstanding government servants in celebration of this year’s Civil Service Week, during which Tinubu addressed.
Senator George Akume, who serves as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, spoke on behalf of the president.

Akumen claims that Tinubu praised public personnel for their roles in Nigeria’s economic growth, as reported by the NAN.
He declared, “We shall without delay cushion the pains being experienced by our people as a result of these measures through a number of well-targeted interventions aimed at giving adequate relief and succour to a great number of our long-suffering citizens.”
He also committed to bolstering the government sector.
