Atletico Madrid midfielder, Conor Gallagher’s performance vs Benfica was inexplicable, Marca has said. The Spanish cub was thrashed 4-0 by Benfica in the UCL, and fans have been reacting.
According to Marca, Gallagher had no attitude and intensity throughout the game, and he was involved in the penalty that led to Benfica’s second goal.

Marca added that the Englishman only came on after the break, but he was immediately culpable for 2 goals.
It read, “Gallagher came on after the break and was involved in the penalty that led to Benfica’s second goal. He was left in the lurch by Bah for the home side’s third goal. He had no attitude and no intensity. The Englishman’s performance was inexplicable.”
