The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has declared that no political coalition can prevent President Bola Tinubu from securing re-election in 2027.
Ganduje’s statement comes in response to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s announcement on Thursday of a coalition of opposition parties aimed at defeating Tinubu and the APC in the next presidential election.
In a statement issued on Thursday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment, Oliver Okpala, Ganduje reaffirmed his unwavering support for Tinubu’s second-term bid, stating that any northerner aspiring to contest in 2027 should suspend their ambition until 2031.

“Tinubu will surely emerge victorious because of his untrammelled performance since he assumed office as President of Nigeria,” the statement read.
Dismissing the opposition coalition, Ganduje described it as an alliance of politicians without a unified agenda or strong political base.
“Forget the recent political gatherings and rantings from some politicians who presently do not have any identifiable political base,” he said.
“Their gathering from the Labour Party, PDP, SDP, and others consists of people with different political ideologies and selfish political interests that can never agree on any issue politically.
The gathering is an assemblage of people with divergent political interests.
No amount of political arrangement or gang-up can stop the good people of Nigeria from re-electing Tinubu as President in 2027,” the statement added.
