The Vatican has come out to issue a strong warning against gender theory. A statement was recently shared by the Vatican doctrine office, and the world has been reacting.
According to them, any gender-affirming surgery risks threatening the unique dignity of a person, so such a move should be absolutely avoided.
The Vatican added that while people say that euthanasia or assisted suicide is somehow consistent with respect for the dignity of the human person, we should not forget that suffering does not cause the sick to lose their dignity.
It read, “It follows that any sex-change intervention, as a rule, risks threatening the unique dignity the person has received from the moment of conception.”
On assisted dying, “There is a widespread notion that euthanasia or assisted suicide is somehow consistent with respect for the dignity of the human person, However… it must be strongly reiterated that suffering does not cause the sick to lose their dignity, which is intrinsically and inalienably their own.”
WOW.
