Bayern Munich manager, Hansi Flick has not been approached with the German job, Oliver Bierhoff has said. He recently revealed that the national team is actually very patient in its quest to appoint Joachim Low’s successor.

According to him, the rule in the Germany FA is that as long as a coach is still in an ongoing contractual relationship with another employer, he cannot be approached.

He added that the fact that Flick enjoys huge appreciation at the DFB should not shock anyone.

His words, “In this case, the following applies: As long as a coach is in an ongoing contractual relationship – and I understand that this is still the case with Hansi Flick and FC Bayern – we will not actively approach him.”

“The fact Flick enjoys huge appreciation at the DFB is no surprise.”
