GobbleBox Releases the Only Location-Based Messaging App Available on All Three Major Mobile Platforms
GobbleBox Becomes First Location-Based Messaging App on Windows Phone, IOS, and Android.
A location-based messaging app, GobbleBox allows users to send a “gobble” (message) to any location in the world. Without the need for friends or followers, any GobbleBox user can read and respond to messages sent. The map feature allows one to type in the location they want to send a message to and determine the area of the square miles around it. The trending feature allows users to see what top ten cities are trending in the world.
One of the founders, Iohan Reyes, is excited about the social disruption this will have. “Our vision is to break social network boundaries and allow people to talk to anyone in the world based on the location they are interested in.” With the boundaries of social networking down, there are limitless possibilities to the use of the app whether political, business, or just social.
GobbleBox was founded in July of 2013. The app went live in the United States in January of 2014 and has since gained users worldwide including India, Philippines, and the United Kingdom.
