On Sunday, the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, made the statement that God is about to save Nigeria.
Benin City, the state capital, was the location of the crusade that he spoke at, which was organized by the Deeper Life Church.
They have brought Christ to us, they have brought hope to us, and they have provided a basic message that is so pertinent at this time because God is going to loose Nigeria so that Nigeria can fly,” Obaseki said, noting that Nigeria is set to take flight.

“They have brought Christ to us, they have brought hope to us, and they have delivered a fundamental message that is so relevant at this time.”
“Nigeria is poised to take off thanks to him. We would like to offer our gratitude to God for everything that he has done for us here in Edo State. Even though things are terrible right now, we want to continue to hope that things will only get better from here on out.
Obaseki also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to serving the needs of the people of Edo State and looking out for their welfare.
He promised that the state administration would make prudent use of the few resources it had available in order to further the interests of the people living in Edo as a whole.
“No matter what they do, we will not give them permission to behave in the same manner as they did in the past. We have a responsibility to instill hope in our younger generation since they are our future.
“I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out to this crusade to listen to the message that was given by our father. The entire world is keeping an eye on us, keeping an eye on Edo, and with the grace of God, the message that has been sent to us via this crusade will preserve our land and will bring wealth back to us,” he concluded.
