Ex President Goodluck Jonathan’s grandson clocked one recently and his parents, Faith and Prince Godswill Edward threw a party to celebrate him.
Faith is the foster daughter of GEJ. If you can remember, Goodluck threw her a super wedding 5 years ago.
Family members and tight friends, including wife of former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, Precious, were all in attendance to mark the little boy’s birthday.

Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan GCFR, GCON (born 20 November 1957) is a Nigerian politician who served as the President of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that he served as Vice-President of Nigeria from 2007 to 2010 and as Governor of Bayelsa State from 2005 to 2007. Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson in August 2019, appointed former President Goodluck Jonathan as honorary Special Adviser on the Bayelsa Education Trust Fund Board. In June 2019, Goodluck Jonathan emerged as chairperson of the newly inaugurated International Summit Council for Peace (ISCP).
Jonathan lost the 2015 presidential election to Muhammadu Buhari, becoming the first sitting Nigerian president to concede electoral defeat.
Jonathan was born in what is now Bayelsa State, to a family of canoe makers. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Zoology (Second Class Honours), an M.Sc. degree in Hydrobiology and Fisheries biology and a PhD degree in Zoology from the University of Port Harcourt. Before he entered politics in 1998, he worked as an education inspector, a lecturer and an environmental-protection officer.
Jonathan and his wife, Dame Patience Jonathan have two children[citation needed]. He is a Christian from the Ijaw ethnic group.
In 2007, Jonathan declared his assets worth a total of ₦295,304,420 (then equivalent to US$8,569,662).
