The Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria, PMAN, has come out to hail Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, for constantly supporting Nigerian entertainers battling health challenges. PMAN President, Mr Pretty Okafor, recently had his say via a press statement, and Nigerians have been reacting.
Expressing deep appreciation for the Governor’s compassion towards musicians and actors in distress, Okafor praised Alex Otti for never turning down a request to grant financial help.

Pretty added that all appeals channelled through the Governor’s Senior Special Adviser on Tourism and Entertainment, J. Martins, have always received immediate action.
His words, “I write with a heart full of gratitude to celebrate a leader whose compassion has become the standard for governance in our time.
Dr. Alex Otti, Executive Governor of Abia State, has shown Nigerians and the world what it means to lead with both vision and heart, especially for the entertainment industry.
There was financial support for legendary singer Daddy Fresh during his battle with liver, kidney and eye complications. Another was the aid for veteran actor Sunny McDon from Abia State, who was fighting prostate cancer and most recently, urgent support for veteran actress Ngozi Nwosu, who is currently facing a health relapse.
Whenever PMAN reaches out to the governor, he has answered not with promises but with actions.”
