Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has dismissed concerns over a potential coalition of opposition parties aimed at challenging the dominance of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking on the state of the nation, Sule highlighted the positive impact of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing consistent economic growth and improved production levels as evidence of progress under the APC-led government.

Tinubu’s Achievements
The governor praised President Tinubu for the successful rehabilitation of the Warri and Port Harcourt refineries, describing the milestone as a major achievement that should be celebrated.
“This is a remarkable development that not only boosts our economy but also reinforces the government’s commitment to revitalizing critical national infrastructure,” Sule stated.
Speculations of Political Realignments
Meanwhile, reports suggest ongoing secret meetings among key political players aimed at forming alliances and fostering realignments ahead of the 2027 elections.
However, Sule expressed confidence in the APC’s ability to maintain its dominance, citing its track record and the administration’s tangible results as key factors that will resonate with Nigerians.
He urged stakeholders to focus on the nation’s development rather than engaging in speculative political permutations, noting that the APC remains committed to delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
