Manchester City winger, Jack Grealish will return to Aston Villa soon, Henri Lansbury has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Grealish will definitely want more for his football career in the nearest future, and even if he’ll still get a few goals and assists at City, Pep’s playing style just doesn’t suit him enough.
Henri added that Jack’s standout moment in an Aston Villa shirt was his superb goal against Birmingham.
His words, “Look, he wants to do unbelievable, but this is just a totally different playing style under Pep Guardiola. You see him do bits here and there, and he will still get assists and goals – I’m sure he’ll want to do more himself.
In terms of an Aston Villa return… I think it’s something he’d want to do, but it would have to be when the time is right for him. For me, his standout moment in a Villa shirt was that goal against Birmingham, when he got punched. I wasn’t playing in that game… I was either left out or on the bench! Look, he really does hate the Blues, and given what happened in that game, it was just such a nice thing to see: a local kid score in that derby.”
WOW.
