In what can be termed a bank robbery, some gunmen have attacked a new-generation bank in Iyin Ekiti region of Ekiti State on Friday.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident through a phone call to some newsmen.
He said no injuries had been reported in the bank robbery, adding that the police team was working to launch a criminal gang manhunt.
In addition, the robbers have not been found and are yet to be identified at the moment.
However, reports from witness it was said that armed men left with hands full after the attack on the bank
