Today is the birthday of one of Nigeria’s biggest comedians Basketmouth (Bright Okpocha). He turns 38 years old.
Basketmouth had his primary and secondary school education in Apapa, in Lagos State. He obtained a degree in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Benin.
His wife Elsie Okpocha has posted a birthday message to her husband on her Instagram page.
“I celebrate you today my lover….the one whose wahala is out of this world,the one who keeps my light shining,the one whose love is so amazing…I love you today and forever baby” she wrote.
Basketmouth who recently was involved in an armed robbery incident in his home hinted today that he has just signed a new endorsement deal.
“What’s better than signing an endorsement contract with a multinational brand on your birthday” hinted Basketmouth on his Instagram page.
Last year, the Mayor of Houston announced that July 17 as ‘Basketmouth Day’.
