Today is the birthday of gospel singer and professional photographer TY Bello.
TY Bello born Toyin Shokefun was born in Ogun state and has a degree in Economics from the University of Lagos. She was a member of the gospel group KUSH alongside singer Lara George, and Emem Ema.
The group disbanded and TY Bello struck solo. In 2008 she released her debut album ‘The Land Is Green’.
She got married to Kashetu in 2008. They had their first kids (twin boys Christopher and Christian) in 2014.
TY Bello is known as the photographer of the influential and famous Nigerians. She is the official photographer of former Nigerian President Jonathan Goodluck.
