Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane heaped praise on Chelsea’s Eden Hazard after the Belgium international scored twice in a 3-2 friendly win over the Londoners at the weekend.
Hazard has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu, and Zidane praised the 25-year-old’s quality.
“There are rumours about tons of players potentially linked with this club,” the former France captain told reporters.
“He is a very, very good player. Obviously all clubs want the best players, but he is a Chelsea player.”
Last season, Hazard said he would like to work with Zidane one day, saying: “When I was little, I watched him on television and the internet for hours.”
Hazard is hoping to bounce back from a tough season with the Blues last term.
He scored only four times in the Premier League as Chelsea’s title defence foundered, but has said he is determined to help inspire a recovery under new coach Antonio Conte.
