Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole has been elected the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party for the forthcoming Federal House of Representatives, Remo Federal Constituency, in the 2023 general election.
The primary election for the constituency took place at the Mercy Event Centre, Sagamu Remo, on Sunday, May 22, 2022.
Asiwaju Oluwole polled 104 votes to emerge the winner.
The Returning Officer, Mr Boye Adeshina, commended the two aspirants and agents for the display of maturity and spirit of sportsmanship.
In his remark, Asiwaju Oluwole expressed appreciation to the leaders and delegates for considering him worthy of flying the party’s flag in 2023. He particularly appreciated Alhaji Lukman Adunmo for his level of political maturity.
He appealed to Adunmo to join hands with him for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections.
He said, “I commend my good brother, Alhaji Lukman Adunmo, for his political maturity. I want to appeal to you to join hands with me to rescue the people from the bondage of the All Progressive Congress (APC). I believe, with you, it is achievable.”
