Telegram is a popular messaging app that has been gaining grounds in recent times following the controversy over WhatsApp’s new privacy policy.
The app touched the five million mark earlier this month, also adding 25 million new users in the last few days.
If you are new to Telegram and you want to customise the chats as per your likings, here’s a step-by-step guide for you:
Step 1: Open Telegram app.
Step 2: Tap on the gear icon on the bottom right corner of the app (on iOS) to access Settings.
Step 3: Tap on Appearance option.
Step 4: Select ‘Night’ or ‘Tinted Night’ option based on how you prefer dark mode to look like.
Step 4: In the following section, pick the colour of chat bubbles.
Step 5: Tap on Chat Background option
Step 6: Tap on ‘Set a Color’ option to pick a solid colour as your Telegram background.
Step 7: Tap on Pattern option to select background art. Next set Pattern Intensity.
Step 8: Tap on Set button.
Alternatively, you can also use one of the images available in the app as your chat background.
Step 9: After tapping on the ‘Chat Background’ option, also tap on the Imagen’s that you want to use.
Step 10: Tap on Blurred and Motion options based on what you like.
Step 11: Tap on Set button.
