Cristiano Ronaldo is focused solely on Portugal’s quest to win the Confederations Cup, instead of a move to Manchester United.
The Real Madrid forward is believed to be seeking a move away from the Champions League winners after being accused of defrauding Spanish authorities of £13million.
But speculation regarding his career won’t derail him as he gears up to face Mexico on Sunday in Russia for their opening match of the tournament.
He uploaded a solitary Portuguese flag to his Twitter account, alongside a picture of him training ahead of the clash.
International team-mate Andre Silva of AC Milan declared he is fully committed and focused to win another competition with the Euro 2016 champions.
Silva said: “I have said many times that it is a dream to play with Ronaldo.
“Since I was young I always wanted to reach high levels and play alongside him. He is very motivated, as am I.
“He is focused on the national team, and as well as being motivated he has a good feeling that we will achieve in this tournament.”
Ronaldo not only has scored a staggering 406 goals in 396 games for Los Blancos, but has won an astonishing three Champions League titles, two La Liga championships and has triumphed twice in the Copa del Rey.
In a move that will shock the world, he is in line to complete a sensation switch back to the Red Devils, a move that he is pushing for according to former Real president Ramon Calderon.
