Chelsea player, Eden Hazard has said he has taken a decision on his future and he is now waiting on the club to act on what he wants after what looked like last EPL appearance for the London club against Leicester City.
Even if he began the game on the bench, Hazard heard his name chanted by traveling fans as they begged him to ignore Real Madrid and remain with the club.
Hazard had this to say, “Yes I have made my decision, but it is not just about me,”
“I’m still waiting.”
Asked if he has told the club, Hazard replied: “Yes. A couple of weeks ago.”
On if the UCL qualification will sway his decision, his words, “No, I don’t think so. I have made my decision, that’s it. I’m still waiting.”
He also spoke about how the rumours of his exit did not affect his performances on the pitch, “Never, never,”
“When you are on the pitch, you try to be focused on the pitch with the ball. That’s it. When I am on the pitch I just try to do the best. I am not thinking about this and this, my situation or the club’s situation. I just try to win games.”
