Didier Drogba has dropped his two cents on the reportedly difficult relationship between Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho and midfielder Paul Pogba.
Drogba, who played under Mourinho at Chelsea, spoke to Telefoot about his ex-manager’s behaviour and played down any suggestion that the two are not getting along.
“It’s been hot between us [Drogba and Mourinho],” he said. “But Jose is never going to attack people he does not like. He likes Paul a lot. That’s why he’s given him a lot of responsibilities.”
Manchester United are second in the Premier League table but virtually out of the race for the title, as Manchester City have a 16-points advantage at the top.
