Popular celebrity, Snoop Dogg has come out to tender an apology for age-shaming in the past. He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.
According to Snoop, he is very sorry to those he age-shamed in the past, because now that he is much older, he knows better.
His words, “I just wanna apologize to the people I called old at 50 when I was 18.”

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. (born October 20, 1971), known professionally as Snoop Dogg is an American rapper and actor. His fame dates back to 1992 when he was featured on Dr. Dre’s debut solo single, “Deep Cover”, and then on Dre’s debut solo album, The Chronic. Broadus has since sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide.
His accolades include an American Music Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 nominations at the Grammy Awards.
Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. was born on October 20, 1971, in Long Beach, California, to Vernell Varnado and Beverly Tate. Vernell, who was a Vietnam War veteran, singer, and mail carrier, left the family only three months after his birth, and thus he was named after his stepfather, Calvin Cordozar Broadus Sr. (1948–1984).
His father remained largely absent from his life. As a boy, his mother nicknamed him “Snoopy” due to his love and likeness of the cartoon character from Peanuts. He was the second of his mother’s three sons. His mother and stepfather divorced in 1975.
