Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp has come out to say that Jordan Henderson’s late goal vs Everton was never an offside.
He recently revealed that he cannot explain how VAR arrived at such unexpected conclusion.
According to him, Liverrpool played very well and they more dominant and confident after the horror show vs Aston Villa weeks ago.
He added that he would’ve been more happy if his boys won, but he is still very pleased with the response after the international break.
His words, “For Henderson’s goal I didn’t see offside – but it is because someone decided it.”
“I didn’t see it back but it took a while so obviously it wasn’t too big an offside and Jordan Pickford takes him out the game. I didn’t see it back I only saw it briefly,”
On Liverpool, “The performance was top, it was a top game and a good game for both teams. We were dominant against a side full of confidence and with a clear plan. It was probably the best away game since I was at Liverpool.
“I saw a really good performance. I would be more happy if we win but I wanted to see a response and see the team we were before.
“The game was brilliant but it’s over, we got one point and that’s the situation. The game was good, I loved it in so many moments how we played against such a good side.”
