Manchester United defender, Leny Yoro has come out to admit that Andre Onana’s late blunder happened at the wrong time vs Lyon. He recently revealed that it was the worst moment to concede in their UEL clash, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, winning away from home would have been a very good score, so it was difficult to concede that late, but the players will keep their heads up and win at Old Trafford.

Yoro added that he couldn’t celebrate his goal because he only scored an equalizer, and the aim was to win.
His words, “This was the worst time to concede.
We were winning 2-1, I think away this was a good score, but we go with a draw and we try to win the game at home. We defended really well, but they are a good team, a good striker, so we need to be ready for everything, but unfortunately we conceded the goal.
I didn’t enjoy too much – no celebration because it’s normal, we want to win. No time for celebration. Really happy to score my first goal. We don’t have the win, but it’s okay. Honestly, it was really quick, I don’t even think about anything, I just put my head, try to score.
I think we did really well. It was compact, we tried to block every counter attack, things like that we need to keep it and to give everything at Old Trafford. I think if we won 2-1 we would be more confident [to make it through] for sure we concede this goal, it’s difficult but we need to keep our heads up. We didn’t lose, we can win at Old Trafford.”
WOW.
Manchester United Football Club, commonly referred to as Man United or simply United, is a professional football club based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top division in the English football league system.
Nicknamed the Red Devils, they were founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878, but changed their name to Manchester United in 1902. After a spell playing in Clayton, Manchester, the club moved to their current stadium, Old Trafford, in 1910.
Alex Ferguson and his assistant Archie Knox arrived from Aberdeen on the day of Atkinson’s dismissal, and guided the club to an 11th-place finish in the league. Despite a second-place finish in 1987–88, the club was back in 11th place the following season. Reportedly on the verge of being dismissed, Ferguson’s job was saved by victory over Crystal Palace in the 1990 FA Cup final.
The following season, Manchester United claimed their first UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title. That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992 the left and the right, but he’s not got any sense of danger yet, and empties the midfield area too readily.
