I Don’t Expect Much From Sesko At MUFC – Alan Shearer

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has slammed Manchester United for overpaying for Benjamin Sesko. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he does not have high hopes for the Red Devils’ £70m striker because even though he is a good player, he is not very clinical.

Shearer added that MUFC clearly paid a lot of money for the youngster, but he does not look like he’ll repay the investment.

His words, “One player that must do better for United is Benjamin Sesko. They paid 70 odd million for him. That was a lot of money, I know it’s the market but it was too much. He’s had a tough start and I don’t expect huge things from him to be honest.

I think he’s a good player but I’m not sure he’s any more than that. He should have scored a couple more goals than he has so far. It’s been a tough start for him, especially considering the money United paid.”
