Spurs manager, Jose Mourinho has come out to say that he was pleased to drop vs Brighton & Hove Albion. Mourinho recently revealed that the decision was a technical one, and he is happy with himself for taking it.
According to him, Sissoko impressed while playing in the unusual position, so he has nothing to regret.
Mourinho added that he does not see anyone leaving the club this January, so he remains focused on his current players.
His words, “It’s a technical decision, and I’m happy with the decision because Moussa played very well,”
On departures from his club on deadline day, “I don’t expect, no. Of course, today was a day when I am disconnected from my bosses, I am disconnected from the club contacts, I am just focused on the game. But I don’t think so. I was not expecting anything to happen.”
