Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey has come out to say that he is happy to have ended his goal drought. He recently revealed this after scoring in the 3-1 Premier League win against Aston Villa on Friday.
According to him, he believes the goal came at the right moment and he is very happy to put the ball at the back of the net again.
Partey added that Arsenal had to continue fighting and upping the intensity to get all 3 points vs Aston Villa.
His words, “The team knew what to do. We had to keep fighting and keep our intensity. In the end with the quality we have we are able to get results.”
