Ex–Tottenham player, Rafael van der Vaart has come out to speak about Harry Kane’s bad luck with trophies. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if he is happy Kane did not move from Spurs to another EPL club, he cannot help but feel sorry for him after another trophyless season.
Rafael added that watching Kane score for MUFC vs Tottenham would have been really heartbreaking.
His words, “I’m happy that he didn’t move inside England. I think that Harry is Tottenham, you know what I mean? And when you’re from your own youth system and you grew up at Tottenham, they gave you everything they could but then you play for Man United and score against them? It’s normal, but for Harry, no. Harry is Tottenham, and so it was a good move (to Bayern). And of course, he wants to win something, and Bayern Munich wins the title every year. And he goes there, scoring again, 40 goals, and then there is one club Leverkusen, out of the blue. How unlucky is he? I’m so sorry for him.”
