Senate president, Dr Bukola Saraki, has confirmed receipt of President Muhammadu Buhari’s resumption letter to the National Assembly.
“I have received a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari informing the Senate that he has returned to the country.
“I have also acknowledged the letter.’’
President Muhammadu Buhari had written to the National Assembly telling it about his medical trip to London, which he started on May 7.
He had transferred power to the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, to take over in his absence.
He returned to Nigeria last week, August 19, 2017, after spending over 100 days in London.
