Manchester United forwards, Jadon Sancho and Edinson Cavani will train with their new teammates next week, Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer has said. He recently revealed that he hopes both footballers will be fit when they both get back.
According to him, there are different circumstances as to why they haven’t joined their remaining teammates yet, but all that will be sorted soon.
He added that Fred has also been away at Copa America and his three weeks break will surely benefit him ahead of next season.
His words, “Hopefully they’ll be fit when they come back in with us. They’re due to come in after the weekend.”
“There are different circumstances as to why they haven’t joined us yet, but it’s a long season and they had to have a little more time off.”
On Fred, “He played nine games for Brazil in the summer so the three weeks he had away from us [on holiday] will have benefited him.”
“He’s not lost any fitness so he’s ready to go.”
On Varane and Sancho, “They still haven’t trained with us and I need to see how they are,” Solskjaer said. “I can’t see them being available for Everton but hopefully they will be ready to be on the bench [against Leeds].”
