France international, Alexander Lacazette has apologized for his indiscipline against BATE Borisov in Arsenal’s recent Europa League clash on Thursday.
The striker was shown a straight red in the 85th minute for using his elbow on an opposition player, Aleksandar Filipolic.
He has since said sorry for his actions with these words, “Letting the team down like that is the worst feeling,”
“I should have stayed calm but it’s not always easy. Sorry.
“There are still 90 minutes to play and I believe that my teammates will make it to the next round.”
Arsenal have it all to do against their opponent in the return leg to seal qualification to the next round.
