Ronaldinho has come out to say that Philippe Coutinho would “perfectly suit” his former club Barcelona and hopes the Liverpool midfielder can finally secure a move to the Camp Nou.
“I would be very happy to see such a talented player wear the shirt I wore for so many years,” Ronaldinho said of his compatriot Coutinho.
“I believe the way he plays will perfectly suit Barcelona and I would be delighted to see a player of such quality wear the shirt.
“I like the way Coutinho plays and the type of football he brings. Those types of qualities will hopefully help Brazil win the next World Cup.”
Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno, meanwhile, has said he considers Coutinho to be “world class.”
“Yes. I’m lucky enough to see him train daily. He is different. He does incredible things, things that he can only come up with. In my opinion, he is world class.”
