Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems has come out to blast a troll who tried to mock her physique online. She recently addressed the ongoing obsession with her appearance, and fans have been reacting.
It all started when a user quoted a clip of the singer, writing, “Real one knows she just have big laps not actual ass.”
Reacting via her X account, Tems said that it is very weird for people to fixate on the size or shape of her backside, urging Nigerians to let her body be.
The singer added that while she never thought she would ever need to address it directly, the constant comments about her body forced her hand.
Her words, “Okay, 7 years in. It’s time to pack it up. I never thought I’d need to say it but you are all weird. ‘It’s small, it’s flat, it’s fat.’
