Popular socialite Cubana Chief Priest has opened up about one of his biggest regrets in life. He recently revealed that he regrets failing to fulfil his late mother’s dream of seeing him become a Catholic Priest.
In an emotional Instagram post, Cubana shared that his mother prayed for years before conceiving and giving birth to him and his older brother, Onyinyechukwu, an Igbo name that means “Gift from God.”

The celebrity barman disclosed that she gave birth to him after a complicated pregnancy and named him Chibuike, “God is my strength,” promising God that one of her children would serve Him eventually.
Cubana shared that he actually tried his best to gain admission into the seminary, but he could not make it to the Catholic priesthood like his mum wanted.
“Next year will make it 10 years since I lost my mom, and everyone who knows my story can testify that my life changed after she went to heaven. Every day I live with the guilt that I disappointed my mama by not becoming a priest. She wanted to be called Mama Father, but instead, I became the ChiefPriest,” he wrote.
He further noted that despite failing to fulfil his mother’s wish, he still considers himself to be doing God’s work.
Cubana concluded by saying that he recorded a Catholic thanksgiving song to honour his late mother’s memory and express gratitude for his many blessings.
“But fact remains that I’m still doing God’s work. I had to do this thanksgiving Catholic Christian song to honor my late mom & also thank God for the numerous blessings that have come my way,” he added.
