German and Bayern Munich midfielder, Jamal Musiala was persuaded to play for the Super Eagles, ex-coach, Gernot Rohr has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he definitely regrets not being able to lure Musiala to play for Nigeria because he is wonderful talent proving his worth in Germany.
Rohr added that he met him and his agents when he was 17, and it is stunning to see how he has progressed since then.
His words, “Musiala, I have the regret, he could play for Nigeria but he decided to play for Germany.”
“He is a wonderful player, I met him when he was 17, and spoke with his agents and parents. Around that time, he couldn’t make a decision, and then a year later, he became what he is now, and that’s all.”
