Chelsea are very inconsistent to secure a spot in the top four, according to Liverpool legend, Steve Nicol.
Chelsea are presently sixth in the Premier League table, three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
Manchester United on the otherhand, are now between Arsenal and Chelsea after a brilliant resurrection from the dead since Jose Mourinho was fired.
A top-four finish looked gone before Solskjaer replaced the sacked Jose Mourinho in December.
Steve said, “It comes down to consistency and who do you trust,”
“And of those two sides, I’d have to say I trust Manchester United more.
“They’re certainly more of a settled line up every time they set up on the field, which I don’t think you can say about Chelsea.
“In the Premier League he uses 13 players, when he plays in the Europa League he changes it up.
“He [Maurizio Sarri] plays [Callum] Hudson-Odoi and [Ruben] Loftus-Cheek and they turn it on.
“And then he goes back to the 13 in the Premier League.
“And they’re so inconsistent, away from you’re not quite sure what you’re going to get.
“At home they seem to get it done, so I just don’t trust them.
“I trust Manchester United far more than I do Chelsea.
“I don’t see Chelsea getting close to the top four.”
