Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has come out to admit that he is not in full control of the Alexander Isak situation. Howe recently revealed that he cannot say for sure where the player will end up this summer.
Speaking during an interview with the press, the English manager disclosed that his wish is for Isak to stay at Newcastle beyond the current transfer window.

According to him, even though the Sweden international still has three years left on his contract, and the club remains in control of his future to an extent, anything is still possible at this point.
He stated that different possibilities are available to the club at the moment, so Newcastle will do what is best for the team.
“He is still our player. He’s contracted to us. We, to a degree, control what is next for him. I would love to believe all possibilities are still available to us,” he said.
Eddie further noted that no formal bid has been placed for Isak thus far, stressing that there is a possibility he’ll be staying put.
Howe concluded by saying that his wish is for the finisher to be wearing a Newcastle jersey next season
“My wish is that he stays, but that’s not in my full control. We have not received a formal offer for Alex, from any club. My wish is that he stays and we see him playing again next year,” he added.
